This book is written from the perception of a young
woman.
The question that arises is, how do the seasons of
nature depict the phases of life of a woman? The answer is simple. Maybe it was
on a warm Monday morning when she started splashing on the canvas set on her
easel, and the idea of a solo journey enticed the young woman. A deeply
embedded yearning came forth, and she fell in love.
Whilst some love interests might remain unrequited,
insecurities and depression don’t leave anyone out. Some might even go further
and seek answers from the divine.
And then one sudden night, a storm sets in, reeking of
betrayal, hurt and fear. The hail wreaks havoc in her life, but she stands her
ground. She doesn’t run for the shade and drenches herself, for the monsoon
loved her insane.
She tries to find happiness amidst the chaos, but the
old wounds open up and shake her core to crumble. Old memories
come to haunt her at night and laugh at her naivety. Though she holds her head
high and doesn’t stop by the end of the fall, she learns to love herself.
A mind is a fickle place that brings about the
monstrosity of depression in her life like all the fight was for nothing; bound
by anxiety and failures, she trips over her feet. Despite fate churning her
life into unknown pits of hell, she finds herself all over again.
The winter comes to a surprising halt, and with a
promise of return, he gives up his reins to the blooms of spring. Finally, she
stumbles into the arms of a certain someone and falls head over heels. The path
to contentment is a long one she tries to seek, escaping the jealous
murmurs thrown her way. Love fills her heart with warmth. Her strength and hope
act as her armour as success paves her way to the seashore.
The ending hopes to steal the show by trying to
connect with the readers on a deeper level. It hopes to give hope to everyone
struggling with their life and trying hard to do better for themselves.
Above all, Blooms of Barren is for those who are
healing and whoever needs healing.
